The crew intercom that lives in everyone's pocket

Directors, camera operators, audio, graphics and runners talk on channels from their own phones — iPhone, Android or a laptop in the control room. No beltpacks to rent, no base station to set up.

Built for live events, not meetings

Meeting apps are built for one conversation at a time. A crew needs several at once: MAIN for everyone, DIRECTOR for the director and the TD, CAMERAS for the operators, AUDIO, GRAPHICS. Each person sees only the channels their role allows, listens to several and talks on one with a single press.

Works where field networks are bad

Stadium Wi-Fi, hotel networks and 5G carrier NAT break most peer-to-peer apps. Active Intercom runs its own TURN relay that falls back to TCP/TLS on port 443, so it connects behind almost any firewall — we have used it live from Türkiye, China and New Zealand.

In the pocket, with the screen off

The native iOS and Android apps keep audio running with the phone locked, work with Bluetooth headsets and reconnect by themselves when the phone switches between Wi-Fi and 5G.

FAQ

Do my operators need to buy anything?

No. They install the free app, sign in with the login you create and stay signed in.

How many people can be on a channel?

Crew covers 6 seats, Team 20 and Pro 50; a seat is one user in your workspace.

What is the latency?

Typically 80–250 ms end-to-end on mobile networks.

Can I use it for a single event?

Yes — the Event pass gives 20 seats for 24 hours, no subscription.
