Next to your Clear-Com or Riedel, for everyone beltpacks can't reach
Hardware intercom is unbeatable inside the truck and the venue. Active Intercom covers everyone outside it: a remote commentator, a camera across the city, a producer at home, a crew in another country.
Why both
Wireless beltpacks have limited range and capacity, and crowded venues can overload their radio. Phones work over 4G/5G and Wi-Fi anywhere, so the remote part of the crew stays connected — while the truck keeps its trusted system.
Today
Run Active Intercom channels for the remote crew and commentators, and keep one person (or a spare panel key) in the truck on both systems.
The bridge
A Dante bridge (with Dante Virtual Soundcard) and a 4-wire bridge (through a USB audio interface) connect an Active Intercom channel directly to a partyline port. It is rolling out in Q4 2026 on the Pro plan — tell us your setup and we will include you in the pilot.
