If you produce in Relaya, there is no vMix PC in the chain: the commentator's voice goes into the cloud control room, aligned to the picture, with program return, IFB and tally set up for them.

Set up once

  1. In your Active Intercom workspace copy the link code.
  2. Paste it once in Relaya.
  3. In the production, press Assign commentator and pick a user — the guest input, return and monitor link are created for you.

In sync with the picture

Commentators watch the program before the production delay, so their reactions land on the right frame. Relaya applies a program delay and mixes the commentary on top.

Everything else stays the same

The same console as with vMix: ON AIR, MUTE, talkback, program return and IFB. Crew channels keep working for everyone else.

Do I need Relaya to use Active Intercom?

No. Active Intercom works on its own and with vMix; the Relaya link is an option.

Which plan includes the Relaya link?

The Pro plan. Relaya cloud production itself is part of the Relaya plans.
